Centre announces new Director

Dr Paul Copeland has been announced as the new Director for the Centre for European Research

Paul joined Queen Mary University of London in September 2012 having previously been a Hallsworth Research Fellow of Political Economy at the University of Manchester (2009-2012).

Paul’s research focuses on the process of European integration, with a specific focus on social policy and labour law, as well as the effectiveness of different modes of governance. Paul’s work is interdisciplinary and analyses the EU by engaging with the different approaches and research methods found within both the social sciences and law.
