The British Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that the government's decision to suspend the activity of Parliament was illegal. A historic verdict that deprives Boris Johnson of his main weapon to achieve Brexit by October 31. Quoted in France 24, Dr Daniel Gover of the School of Politics and International Relations said: “This is the worst scenario for him. It's hard to imagine how the government and Parliament will continue to work together after this episode. The parliamentarians will increase the embarrassing questions for the Government, and they will use all the tools at their disposal to exercise the strictest possible control over the ‘activity of ministers’.”Find out more
