The Debating Europe Podcast Series provided by the Centre for European Research (CER) complements the Centre's monthly research seminar series and invites the guest speakers of the seminars to share some of their thoughts on the most pressing issues currently debated across Europe. In the first episode of the series, Dr Stella Ladi (CER / Queen Mary University of London) and Professor Kevin Featherstone (European Institute / London School of Economics and Political Science) discuss a range of issues from democratic accountability to economic policy implementation in the framework of post-crisis EU-Greece relations.

2018 Inaugural event- Professor Ulrike Guerot and Marie LeConte (October 2018)

The 2018 inaugural event of our Centre, titled ‘Reforming the EU: Why and How the Union Needs to Hand Power to its Citizens’ took place on 8 October and hosted Professor Ulrike Guérot, a Berlin-based political activist, founder of the think tank Democracy Lab, and Professor of European Politics at the Danube University in Austria, as well as Marie Le Conte, a freelance journalist and renowned political commentator. The event was chaired by CER Director, Dr Sarah Wolff and was followed by a Q&A session involving the audience.
